Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan on Friday said he would direct the Internal Affairs Service to look into the sexual assault complaint filed by Nova Parojinog against Police Lieutenant Colonel Jigger Noceda.

Cascolan confirmed this in a text message to GMA News Online.

IAS Inspector General Alfegar Triambulo, in a separate text message, said his office is waiting for the documents from the PNP Women and Children Protection Center.

The PNP WCPC was the one that filed complaints against Noceda, relieved chief of the PNP Custodial Service Unit, before the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office last October 7.

The cop is facing complaints for alleged violations of the Anti-Rape Law and Acts of Lasciviousness, Safe Spaces Act, and Unjust Vexation after he allegedly harassed Parojinog, who has been detained at the Camp Crame Custodial Center.

Noceda is now under the custody of the PNP Headquarters Support Service. —AOL, GMA News
