Duterte certifies 3 new bills as urgent

President Rodrigo Duterte has certified bills for proposed amendments to the Anti-Money Laundering Act, and the bill that seeks to ensure that Philippine financial industry is responsive  to the COVID-19 era.

Duterte certified as urgent on October 16 House Bill 6174, and Senate Bill 1412 both seeking amendments to the AML Act.

Also on the same date, the President certified as urgent Senate Bill 1849, which seeks to ensure that the Philippine financial industry is resilient amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. —LBG, GMA News
