Lovers arrested for allegedly stealing ex-business partner's car

A pair of lovers were arrested by the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) in separate operations on Saturday after they allegedly stole their former business partner's car.

According to John Consulta’s report on “24 Oras Weekend,” the Region 4A PNP-HPG arrested Frank Ganabe in Santa Rosa, Laguna while Seiza Armada was arrested in General Trias, Cavite.

The PNP-HPG said the car was registered under the name of their former business partner. The pair allegedly stole the car after the partner left the company months ago.

“Nag-conduct kami ng operation and then it so happens na nakita namin sila sa Santa Rosa.

The suspects denied stealing the car as it was part of their verbal agreement with their partner that their wages would go to the payment of the car.

The pair were detained at the PNP-HPG 4A holding facility. The court said their case was non-bailable. — Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
