Netizens take ‘how it started vs. how it’s going’ challenge by sharing inspiring stories

Amid the lockdown, Filipinos took part in the viral “how it started vs. how it’s going” challenge by sharing their inspiring success stories.

Inspirational posts were all over social media which showed humble beginnings and success stories.

Among those who took part in the challenge was Inka Magnaye, a professional voice talent.

With no hosting gigs due to the pandemic, Magnaye decided to start a podcast and become a content creator.

“I met so many wonderful creators and started creating really fun and creative videos and naging friends na rin sila. I realized during the pandemic I could offer more, I started making a video to help people relax from anxiety attacks. I wanna make a relaxation podcast to help people go to sleep,” she said.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Johan Kyle went from being a high schooler from Caloocan to getting a film scholarship in New York.

“Nakita ko maraming tao nagpo-post before and after, I wanted to join because it seems fun. I’ve always wanted to be a filmmaker,” he said.

Moreover, Chezka Carandang went from being a flight attendant to an airline pilot.
