Labor Sec. Bello's phone snatched in Manila, two suspects arrested

Two individuals suspected of snatching the mobile phone of Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III were apprehended on Sunday, the police force reported over the weekend.

A report from the Ermita Police Station indicated that the two suspects -- Clarence Arevalo and John Paul Laurente Sunga -- were arrested after a follow-up operation along Elisondo Street in Quiapo, Manila on Sunday, November 8.

This comes after Bello's mobile phone was snatched along the vicinity of the Manila City Hall and Mehan Garden on Friday, November 6. Additional information on the incident was not immediately available.
