Meralco customers without electricity down to 187,705

The number of Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) customers without electricity have further declined to 187,705 as of Saturday morning.

In its latest situation report, Meralco said the number comprises 2.785% of its total customers.

Majority of affected households are in Bulacan at 108,012, followed by Rizal at 43,996 and Metro Manila at 30,069.

“Sa Lunes sana ay makabalik na kami sa normal business operations,” Meralco spokesperson Joe Zaldarriaga said during the Laging Handa briefing.

“Itong mga natitira ay tuloy-tuloy ang pagtatranbaho natin. Hindi tayo hihinto hanggat hindi nakukumpleto ang mga wala pang serbisyo ng kuryente,” Zaldarriaga said. -MDM, GMA News
