The Office of the Vice President Leni Robredo has been able to locate all but two of the  200 Cagayan residents who sought their office’s help for rescue amid the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses that caused massive flooding the in the province.

“Our team in Cagayan has been tasked to look for about 200 individuals on our list. They were the ones who were crying out on that fateful night to be rescued. Many on the list, they were already able to talk to and have been confirmed to be safe,” Robredo said in a statement.

“Initial reports show that there were about three who did not make it. But we requested them to double check. One of those they could not contact was Raquel of Gosi Sur, Tuguegarao. We were getting nervous already. But they found her today,” Robredo added in a Twitter post with Raquel.

In addition, Robredo said that her team was also able to track down a resident identified as Janice Narag, daughter of Johnny Narag who died of heart attack hours before the rescue team was able to locate them.
