Three senior police officials have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Debold Sinas.

At a press conference on Monday, Sinas identified the infected police officers as Northern Police District chief Police Brigadier General Ronnie Ylagan, Firearms and Explosives director Police Brigadier General Rommil Mitra, and Police Brigadier General Joey Runes from the Office of the Chief PNP.

"So nagkalabasan 'yan noong nag-command conference kasi kaya hindi sila naka-attend ng conference kasi nga mga positive na sila and it's good kasi at least may early detection tayo," Sinas said.
