The Philippines’ coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) tally hit 435,413 on Thursday after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 1,061 new cases as 13 laboratories failed to submit data on time.

The other 27,642 are active cases undergoing treatment or quarantine.

Meanwhile, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) chief Eric Domingo said a COVID-19 vaccine may be rolled out in the Philippines in March 2021 following positive developments in the search for a vaccine abroad.
