Bato hospitalized due to COVID-19 but now 'improving'
By DONA MAGSINO, GMA NewsSenator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa is currently confined in the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, his office told reporters on Thursday.
The 58-year-old senator developed fever, cough, and colds. He was admitted at a hospital on midnight of November 23 so that he can be monitored better.
Dela Rosa's health condition is now "improving," his staff said.
Last week, the senator posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed.
The lawmaker first announced he tested positive for COVID-19 on November 21

He and his daughter, driver, and house helper all got infected with the virus.
Dela Rosa was the fifth senator to be infected with COVID-19 this year. His colleagues, Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, Senators Sonny Angara, Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel, and Ramon "Bong" Revilla all recovered from the disease.
