PNP: 54 more personnel test positive for COVID-19

Fifty-four more personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Saturday, bringing the police force's total tally of cases to 8,559.

According to the PNP, there were 46 new recoveries bringing the total to 8,054 while the death toll remained at 27.

There were 478 active cases undergoing treatment or quarantine.

The Philippines reported a total of 448,331 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 409,433 recoveries and 8,730 fatalities. — DVM, GMA News
