IATF allows conduct of licensure exams for January to March

The government’s COVID-19 task force has allowed the conduct of licensure examinations scheduled for January to March this year.

The approval came after the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) appealed before the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), according to the resolution approved by the body on Thursday.

“Agencies are directed to render full assistance for the safe and successful conduct of the examinations,” the IATF said, adding the health protocols must be strictly observed during the exams.

According to the PRC, the professional exams set to take place from January to March include those for architects, veterinarians, medical technologists, teachers, social workers, physicians and geologists, among others. — Virgil Lopez/RSJ, GMA News
