Roque in isolation due to COVID-19 exposure

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, Jr. is in quarantine due to exposure to a COVID-19 case.

Over the weekend, he had been on a diving trip in Boracay.

“Work from home po tayo ngayon dahil mayroon po tayong isang staff member na nag-test na positibo ‘no. Bagama’t negative po tayo kahapon noong tayo po ay nag-PCR para sana sa pagpupulong kay Presidente mamaya, kinakailangang sumunod pa rin po sa mga protocols,” Roque said during Monday’s briefing ahead of the meeting of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)—the policy making body of the government’s COVID-19 response—to be presided by the Chief Executive on Monday night.

Roque, however, said he will be joining the IATF meeting virtually.

In addition, Roque said that the President is expected to address the nation after the IATF meeting.

“Opo, mayroon po,” Roque said, referring to the President’s address.
