Robredo slams Bongbong over election protest ‘propaganda’

Vice President Leni Robredo slammed former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos for his continued attempt to convince people that her election victory was fraudulent.

The Supreme Court (SC), sitting as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET), dismissed Marcos' 2016 election protest against Robredo for lack of merit.

Kasalanan iyan ni Mr. Marcos,”Robredo said.

Despite the decision, Marcos’ camp said they want clarification on whether the SC dismissed his electoral protest or only a portion of it.

Marcos’ spokesperson Vic Rodriguez said they are waiting for the official copy of the decision even as the tribunal had already made a pronouncement that the ruling was unanimous in favor of junking the “entire electoral protest" for lack of merit.

Panlilinlang lang talaga,” Robredo said.

For the Vice-president, Marcos is already destroying the image of the institutions involved in the case supposedly for the sake of his ambition.

— DVM, GMA News
