President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday night asked members of his Cabinet to come up with a progress report on the rehabilitation of flood-stricken provinces following the onslaught of Tropical Storm Auring.

“Kindly address the problem… Give me a report of what you have done, just a memo para I can keep track, para hindi makalimutan,” Duterte said in a televised briefing.

Duterte also directed the heads of the department concerned with the relief and rehabilitation efforts to make sure they send representatives to Surigao del Sur if they would not be able to return to oversee efforts to help the storm-hit province.

“You have one week to do it, all of you. Padala kayo dito, ‘pag may kulang, if there’s anything that needs to be fixed, do it, come back here. Kung ‘di kayo, send a competent, ‘wag ‘yong imbecile,” Duterte said.

“If you cannot come back here at least send a representative who can work kasi I’m a very impatient man not because by design but kakaunti na lang kasi panahon ng pagka-presidente ko… Gusto ko ‘yong dapat gawin, gawin na kaagad,” he added.
