COVID-19 cases in the PNP now at 11,218

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) rose to 11,218 on Thursday after the agency reported 42 new infections.

According to the PNP, 32 more of its personnel have also recovered from the illness, bringing the total to 10,717, while the death toll remained at 31.

Meanwhile, there are 470 active cases within the agency.

The Philippines has reported a total of 568,680 COVID-19 cases, including 12,201 deaths. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
