Transport sector leader Efren de Luna dies at 67

Longtime public transport leader Efren de Luna has died, his sister confirmed on Saturday.

Alma Consuelo de Luna told Dobol B TV in an interview the transport leader died before dawn on Friday after suffering a heart attack.

"Inatake po siya sa puso noong Friday ng madaling araw," she said.

"67 po siya," Alma Consuelo added.

His relatives said they did not expect his sudden death since De Luna had no known disease.

De Luna was the chairman and national president of the Alliance of Concerned Transport Organizations.

A wake is being held at the Samson Funeral Homes in Bacoor, Cavite, his sister said.
