San Juan Mayor Zamora gets COVID-19

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a Facebook post on Monday, Zamora said he was asymptomatic and in good physical condition.

He said he was at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center undergoing quarantine.

Zamora said his results came out on Monday after undergoing a routine swab test on Sunday evening.

“To everyone that I have come in contact with the past few days, kindly have yourself tested,” he said in a statement.

“We can arrange for a free RT-PCR swab test for you,” he added.

Further, Zamora advised those who had close contact with him to coordinate with Dr. Rosalie Sto. Domingo, the city’s health officer, from Mondays to Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the COVID-19 Operations Center at the San Juan City Hall.

“I’m very sorry for the inconvenience. Please all stay safe,” he said. -NB, GMA News
