Leni: Bongbong Marcos willing to ruin institutions for ambition

Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. was willing to destroy the country's institutions in the pursuit of his political ambition, Vice President Leni Robredo said on Wednesday.

On "The Mangahas Interviews", Robredo said Marcos' moves seemed to have given critics the right to call her a fake vice president.

Robredo said it was huge relief for her when the Supreme Court junked Marcos' election protest.

Robredo beat Marcos by 263,473 votes in the 2016 Vice Presidential contest.

Marcos’ poll protest against Robredo paved the way for a manual recount of three pilot provinces chosen by Marcos, and this manual recount increased Robredo’s lead by 15,000. -Llanesca T. Panti/NB, GMA News
