Last week, PNP chief Police General Debold Sinas said more spaces in Camp Crame have been opened up as temporary quarantine facilities for treatment of infected police personnel.

The Kiangan Billeting and Transient Quarters with sports facilities has been converted into quarantine facilities with a 55-bed capacity.

He explained that the Kiangan Emergency Treatment Facility is currently the primary quarantine facility in Camp Crame for any COVID-positive cases.

PNP Health Service director Police Brigadier General Luisito Magnaye said that the increase in the cases was unexpected among police personnel.

“Some of whom also brought members of their families who tested positive. There were also members of the LGUs who also took advantage of the facility for assessment of their conditions,” the PNP said. — Joviland Rita/RSJ, GMA News
