PCOO chief Martin Andanar has also tested positive for COVID-19, but he has already recovered.
Also on Friday, Andanar welcomed the inclusion of frontline media workers in state-run and private media under the A4 category priority list of the government’s COVID-19 vaccination program.
“We laud the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) for heeding the call of the PCOO and the Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS). Their (media workers) indispensable and invaluable contributions have provided us with life-saving information on all matters relative to the contagion and the responses of the Duterte administration,” Andanar said in a statement. —LDF, GMA News
