PNP COVID-19 cases rise to 22,754

The Philippine National Police on Sunday said 115 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the organization, driving up the total tally to 22,754.

Meanwhile, 92 new recoveries were recorded by the PNP Health Service, bringing the total number of recoveries to 21,208.

The death toll remained at 63.

The total number of active cases meanwhile is 1,483.

against COVID-19.

So far, 13,000 personnel belonging to the A1 (healthcare workers), A2 (senior citizens), and A3 (persons with comorbidities) categories have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines, he said.

The Philippines' total number of COVID-19 cases rose to 1,178,217 on Saturday with 6,831 new infections. 

The Department of Health said the number of active cases is 54,326.

Meanwhile, recoveries totaled 1,103,945 while deaths numbered 19,946. —KG, GMA News
