Some people caught lying to get COVID-19 vaccine

Some individuals were caught jumping the COVID-19 vaccine line in Cebu City and San Juan City.

According to a report by Jun Veneracion on "24 Oras" on Thursday, several individuals were caught pretending to have comorbidities to be included in the vaccination priority group.

"They will say na wala talaga silang sakit. May nagsinungaling talaga. Hindi natin talaga sila masisisi, sir. Talagang gusto nilang magpabakuna," Cebu City health officer Dr. Jeffrey Ibones said.

In San Juan, individuals caught lying about their health condition were not accepted.

"Kung mayroon silang makikita na nagsisinungaling 'yong mga pasyente, hindi nila ina-accept 'yan," San Juan City health officer Dr. Rosalie Sto. Domingo said.

Based on the prioritization list set by the national government, the vaccination rollout in the country will start with frontline health workers, followed by indigent senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, remaining senior citizens, remaining indigent population, and uniformed personnel.—Ma.
