PNP reports 213 new COVID-19 cases

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the Philippine National Police rose to 25,525 on Friday with 213 new infections.

According to the PNP, total recoveries also climbed to 23,587 after 120 more patients recovered from the illness.

Meanwhile, the death toll remained at 70.

At present, there are 1,868 active cases within the PNP.

The Philippines reported a total of 1,300,349 confirmed cases, of which 1,216,497 have recovered and 22,507 have died. — DVM, GMA News
