PNP: 132 more PNP personnel test positive for COVID-19

A total of 132 more personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Saturday, bringing the total to 25,653, according to the agency.

Meanwhile, total recoveries climbed to 23,743 after 160 more patients recovered from the illness while the death toll remained at 70.

At present, the agency has 1,840 active cases.

The Philippines has reported a total of 1,308,352 COVID-19 cases, of which 60,341 are still active, 1,225,359 have recovered, and 22,652 have died.  — DVM, GMA News
