Gov't to discuss vaccine rollout with Israeli experts arriving June 20 —Galvez

Vaccine czar and National Task Force Against COVID-19 Chief Implementer Carlito Galvez Jr. on Sunday said the government will discuss the vaccination rollout with Israeli experts.

The experts will be in the country from June 20 to 25 to share their experiences on vaccine deployment, he said.

“Their arrival in the Philippines will help us fine-tune our vaccination roll-out. We want to learn from the best practices being implemented in Israel and hopefully, replicate and use them in crafting our country’s policies,” the vaccine czar said.

Other topics to be discussed are the safe handling of vaccines and improving public uptake of vaccines.

“We will study and look at the lessons learned by Israel and hopefully apply those in the Philippines,” Galvez earlier said.
