PNP’s COVID-19 tally now at 26,729

The Philippine National Police on Sunday reported 89 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) among its personnel, bringing the total tally to 26,729.

The PNP said total recoveries also rose by 168 cases to 24,815.

The death toll, meanwhile, remained at 71.

So far, there are 1,843 active COVID-19 cases within the police organization.

As of Sunday, the Philippines has logged over 1.3 million COVID-19 infections including 1,277,715 recoveries and 23,621 deaths. — Margaret Claire Layug/BM, GMA News
