Roque’s four staff members test positive for COVID-19

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque on Thursday said four of his staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

“Mayroon po kaming apat na positibo sa aming tanggapan ‘no, apat lang naman po at isa lang po iyong—that required hospitalization at hindi siya fully vaccinated ‘no – isang driver po sa ating tanggapan ‘no (There were four form our office who tested positive, but only one of them required hospitalization and that person is not yet fully vaccinated. That person is a driver),” Roque said.

Roque said he is not a close contact of the four who tested positive for COVID-19.

“Wala po akong kahit anong close contact sa kanila kasi skeleton workforce lang po kami dito sa Office of the Presidential Spokesperson. Sa ngayong araw po parang siyam na tao lang po ang naririto ngayon sa aking tanggapan,” (I am not a close contact of anybody of them since we only have skeleton force now. There are only around nine people here),” Roque added.

Roque has previously tested positive for COVID-19 twice.
