PNP COVID-19 cases rise to 32,364 after 131 new cases reported

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippine National Police (PNP) went up to 32,364 after 131 new cases were reported on Sunday.

Of this number, 1,959 are active cases, data from the PNP Health Service showed.

Eight-five cases just recovered from COVID-19, driving up the total recoveries to 30,314.

Meanwhile, two deaths were reported, thus the death toll reached 91.

The Philippines’ tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 1,727,231 on Saturday with 14,249 new infections, marking the fourth consecutive day when more than 12,000 new cases were recorded.

The active cases are 98,847; total recoveries at 1,598,314; while the death toll reached 30,070. —KG, GMA News
