PNP reports 162 new COVID-19 cases

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday reported 162 new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections, bringing the total to 32,919.

According to the agency, total recoveries also climbed to 31,007 after 331 more personnel recovered from the illness.

The death toll remained at 98.

There are also 1,814 active cases in the agency.

The Philippines has logged a total of 1,791,003 confirmed cases, including 111,720 active cases and 30,881 deaths. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
