Villar, Pacquiao still richest senators

Senators Cynthia Villar and Manny Pacquiao remain the only billionaires in the Senate, each posting a net worth of over P3 billion, their latest summary of Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net worth (SALN) showed.

Based on the summary of SALNs posted on the Senate website, Villar is still the richest lawmaker with a net worth of over P3.87 billion as of December 2020.

Pacquiao followed with a net worth of over P3.18 billion.

Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto placed third on the list of richest lawmakers with a net worth of over P581 million, while Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri ranked fourth with a net worth of over P220.7 million.

Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. took fifth place with a net worth of over P179.9 million.

Senator Leila de Lima, meanwhile, recorded the lowest net worth with over P9.5 million.
