PNP death toll due to COVID-19 now 117 after new fatality among personnel

Another personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) has died due to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 117 as of Tuesday.

In an update, the PNP said a total of 39,474 COVID-19 cases have been recorded with 143 new infections among the police organization.

At least 37,265 have already recovered from the disease while 2,092are still active cases, according t o the PNP. — Joviland Rita/RSJ, GMA News
