Isko gets 30% to Sara's 29% in commissioned Pulse Asia rider question poll

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno topped a four-way presidential survey by Pulse Asia, the poll firm confirmed on Friday.

According to Sandra Aguinaldo’s report on “24 Oras,” the rider question was commissioned by a friend of Moreno's party Aksyon Demokratiko and was included in the Pulse Asia survey conducted from September 6 to 11.

Moreno had 30% followed by Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte with 29%. Senator Manny Pacquiao had 18% while Senator Panfilo Lacson got 13%.

A similar survey by Pulse Asia with more choices showed Sara topping the poll 20%, followed by former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos with 15%, and Moreno with 13%.

Should Vice President Leni Robredo decide not to run for president, 1Sambayan convenor retired Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio Carpio said they would choose between Moreno and former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.

“Those who agree to our process, si VP Leni, si Sonny Trillanes, atsaka si Isko Moreno. So, theoretically, pagayaw ni Leni, we go down to the other two,” Carpio said.

Trillanes has previously said that his decision to run for president would depend on Robredo.

Meanwhile, Moreno expressed gratitude to 1Sambayan for the consideration. -NB, GMA News
