Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said Friday that minors and fully vaccinated individuals over 65 years old are now allowed to have point-to-point interzonal travel from the National Capital Region to areas under general community quarantine and modified GCQ.

Roque said the IATF inserted a provision on the guidelines on the pilot implementation of Alert Level System for COVID-19 response in Metro Manila, saying that the following are allowed point-to-point interzonal travel to areas under GCQ or MGCQ:

Still, the travel should be subjected to the guidelines and strict health protocols as may be prescribed by the Department of Tourism and the reasonable regulations of the LGU of destination, according to Roque.

The IATF has decided to extend the pilot implementation of the Alert Level System in the NCR until October 15.
