Pets are not allowed at the dolomite beach at the Manila Bay, according to Environment Secretary Benny Antiporda.

“Lahat ng dapat ipatupad d'yan ay gagawin natin gaya ng pagbabawal ng pagswi-swimming, as of now, and of course yung pagkakalat, at pagdadala ng atin mga alagang hayop. Bawal pa po yan,” Antiporda said at a Laging Handa news forum.

(We are enforcing necessary restrictions such as on swimming, as for now, and of course, littering, and bringing pets, that’s not allowed)

According to Antiporda, people are no longer littering in the Manila Bay area due to the behavioral change supposedly caused by the dolomite beach.

He added that marshals were deployed in the dolomite beach area to ensure that the visitors observed health protocols in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Antiporda said that the people close to each other in the beach actually belong to the same family amid concerns on the spread of the coronavirus. -NB, GMA News
