34 more COVID-19 cases bring PNP’s total infections to 41,701

The Philippine National Police (PNP) recorded an additional 34 cases of COVID-19 among its personnel, bringing the total number of infections to 41,701 as of Wednesday.

In an update, the PNP said 40,923 already recovered from the disease, while 655 are still active cases.

The death toll due to COVID-19 in the police organization remained at 123.

As of Wednesday, the PNP said 198,016 or 88.74% of its personnel are already fully vaccinated, while 22,493 or 10.08% are still waiting for their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

At least 2,624 or 1.18% of PNP personnel have yet to be vaccinated. — Joviland Rita/BM, GMA News
