PNP COVID-19 cases reach 41,806

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) went up to 41,806 on Saturday.

This was after 36 new cases were reported, data from the PNP Health Service showed.

The active cases number 520.

Total recoveries meanwhile went up to 41,163 after 54 personnel recovered from the illness.

The death toll meanwhile remained at 123.

The Department of Health on Friday said the country's total tally of COVID-19 cases climbed to 2,779,943 after 4,043 new infections were reported. 

Of the total, 50,630 are active; 2,686,692 are recovered; while 42,621 died. —KG, GMA News
