PCG logs 33,535 passengers in all ports on Thursday

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said it monitored 18,986 outbound passengers and 14,549 inbound passengers in all ports nationwide on Thursday after the Undas long weekend.

In an advisory, the PCG said personnel inspected at least 354 vessels and 349 motorbancas in 15 Coast Guard districts as of 6 p.m. on Thursday.

It added that PCG personnel would also conduct patrols in major tourist destinations to remind local tourists to comply with health protocols.

Passengers were also encouraged to coordinate with the Coast Guard Public Affairs (0927-560-7729) for inquiries, concerns, and clarifications regarding sea travel protocols and regulations. — Richa Noriega/BM, GMA News
