Among the indicators were average daily cases, reproduction number, daily attack rate, active cases, and positivity rate.

"Nearly all indicators are better now," said OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David on Twitter, comparing Metro Manila numbers during the November 1 to 7, 2021 period with the numbers during the November 1 to 7, 2020 period.

The COVID testing in the NCR increased to 21,430 this year from 15,577 last year, with the positivity rate now only at 4%, down from 6% in 2020. The active cases also decreased to 6,484 this year from 10,722 last year.
