282 pass November 2021 customs broker licensure exam

A total of 282 out of 821 or 34.35% passed the November 2021 Customs Broker Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.

In a statement the PRC said that Jo Justin Lumongsud Ochea, a graduate of University of Cebu in Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue, topped the examination with a rating of 87%.

Genemae Seguido Caliwan of University of Cebu and Jun Verginesa Suarez of Gordon College both grabbed the second rank with a rating of 86.25%, while Marwayne Reyes from Gordon College ranked third with a rating of 86%.

The Customs Broker Licensure Examination was given by the Board for Customs Brokers in Manila, Cebu and Davao earlier this month.

The commission said the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the examination has yet to be announced. — Richa Noriega/BM, GMA News
