PNP COVID-19 cases reach 42,077

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Saturday said 14 new COVID-19 cases were reported among its personnel, driving up the total infections to 42,077.

Of this number, 187 are active.

Meanwhile, 37 new recoveries were recorded, thus the total tally of recoveries climbed to 41,765.

No new deaths were recorded, and the death toll remained at 125.

The country's total tally of COVID-19 cases reached 2,813,115 on Friday after 1,894 new infections were recorded, the Department of Health said. 

Of this number, 29,105 are active.

Total recoveries climbed by 1,421 to 2,738,975 while 170 new fatalities pushed the death toll to 43,035. —KG, GMA News
