NCR to remain under Alert Level 2 until Nov. 30 — Palace


Metro Manila will stay under Alert Level 2 until the end of the month, Malacañang announced on Saturday.

Aside from the National Capital Region (NCR), the following areas will be under Alert Level 2 from November 15 to 30:

-Cavite

-Aklan
-Iloilo Province
-Guimaras
-Negros Oriental
-Lapu-Lapu City
-Cebu City
-Mandaue City
-Cebu Province
-Bohol
-Cagayan de Oro City
-Misamis Occidental
-Lanao del Norte
-Bukidnon
-Camiguin
-Misamis Oriental
-Iligan City
-Davao del Norte
-Davao de Oro
-Davao Occidental
-Davao City
-Davao del Sur
-Davao Oriental

The NCR was earlier placed under Alert Level 2 beginning November 5 until November 21.

Under Alert Level 2, establishments will be allowed to operate indoors at 50% capacity with additional 10% capacity if they have a safety seal. For outdoors, they will be allowed at 70%.

Catanduanes will be under Alert Level 4 from November 17 to 30, according to presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, citing the decision of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).

The task force placed Baguio City and Siquijor under Alert Level 3 beginning November 15 until November 30.

Batanes, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, the City of Isabela, and Zamboanga City will be under Alert Level 3 from November 17 to 30.

Under Alert Level 2, effective immediately until November 30, are Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Dagupan and Ilocos Norte in Region 1; Tacloban, Southern Leyte, Samar (Western Samar), Ormoc City, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Leyte and Biliran in Region 8; South Cotabato, Sarangani, General Santos City, Sultan Kudarat, and Cotabato (North Cotabato) in Region 12.

Alert Level 2 will be implemented from November 17 to 30 in Santiago City, Cagayan, and Isabela province in Region 2; Albay, Sorsogon, Naga City, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, and Masbate in Region 5; Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay, and Zamboanga del Sur in Region 9.

President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday approved the nationwide implementation of the Alert Level System for determining restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
