PNP COVID-19 cases climb to 42,088

The number of COVID-19 cases among personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) went up to 42,088 on Sunday after 12 new infections were recorded.

Data from the PNP Health Service showed that 182 cases are active.

Recoveries increased to 41,781 after 17 new recoveries were recorded.

Meanwhile, the death toll remained at 125.

The Department of Health on Saturday recorded 1,997 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the nationwide tally to 2,815,080. 

Of this number, 29,382 are active; 2,740,426 recovered; and 45,272 died. —KG, GMA News
