107.46% of QC target population vaccinated for COVID-19


The Quezon City (QC) government administered a total of 3,757,803 vaccines or 107.46% of its target population on Saturday, with over 1,800,000 of its residents and workers already fully vaccinated against the COVID-19.

According to its latest COVID-19 advisory, the QC government fully vaccinated a total of 1,826,831 people, including those who received the single-dose Janssen vaccine.

Those who received the first dose numbered 1,937,189, while some 85,440 minors aged 12-17 have been vaccinated under the government’s pediatric inoculation program.

As of Saturday, there were 1,234 active cases in the city, making its total number of confirmed cases 178,574.

This came to 98.43% or 175,767 individuals have recovered, while 1,573 lost their lives due to the disease. — DVM, GMA News
