Half-Pinay, half-German makes it to ‘The Voice of Holland’

Filipino-German Isabella Lepping made it to the fifth season of The Voice of Holland by passing the Blind Auditions with her own rendition of "Addicted to You."

Lepping's mother is of Filipino origin while her father is German. She currently lives in Enschede, The Netherlands, taking up her Masters of Science in European Studies at the University of Twente. She brought her mother, father and Dutch boyfriend to the show.

The Voice of Holland starts with non-televised auditions. Participants are then chosen to take part in the Blind Auditions where they get the chance to be chosen to move forward and choose a voice coach in return.

Two coaches turned for Lepping — Marco Borsato and Ali B. She chose for Borsato.

Once the coaches have completed their teams, those who passed through the Blind Auditions will fight their way to the Live Shows by beating a teammate in The Battles level.

Lepping will be seen again on RTL 4, the network that broadcasts The Voice of Holland, at The Battles. —Chared Verschuur Ballo/KBK, GMA News
