3 hurt in explosion in front of Zamboanga City police station

A suspected improvised bomb exploded in front of a police station in Zamboanga City Friday night, leaving at least three people injured.

 

The explosion occurred at Barangay Ayala in Zamboanga City, radio dzBB's James Agustin reported.

 

The injured were rushed to the Zamboanga City General Hospital.

 

Citing initial information from Police Regional Office 9, Agustin said the improvised explosive device was placed under a vehicle parked by the police station.

 

Investigators are gathering leads on the perpetrators and the motive for the explosion.
