2 soldiers hurt in ambush by alleged NPA in North Cotabato

Two soldiers were injured in an ambush by suspected members of the New People's Army in North Cotabato on Friday, a report from GMA's “News TV Live” said Saturday.

 

According to the report, the encounter happened in Barangay Noah in Magpet on Friday morning.

 

The Army said the 57th Infantry Battalion came from an outreach program prior to the encounter.

One of the injured soldiers is in critical condition.
