Two drug suspects die in buy-bust operation in Biñan, Laguna

Two men suspected of selling illegal drugs died during a buy-bust operation on Saturday in Biñan, Laguna, a report on Unang Balita on Monday said.

Recovered from the suspects were a few guns, shabu worth P22,000, and marked money.

The buy-bust operation was held at a house in Brgy. Casile, an exclusive report of John Consulta said.

Police forces from Biñan Police and Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force in Calabarzon got a tip that a drug transaction was to take place in the area.

As police surrounded the target area, shots rang out. 

When the tension subsided, the bodies of the two victims were found.

They were identified as Alyas Mike and Alyas Kulot.

Police are still conducting a manhunt for two other men who went out the back door and jumped into the nearby creek.

Inside and outside the house, authorities found foil, lighters, and a fruitgame machine said to be operated by the suspects in the community.

P/Supt. Serafin Petalio II, chief of Biñan Police, said they conducted surveillance on the suspects for two weeks prior to the buy-bust operation. 

"Nang magsagawa ng buy-bust, lumaban ang mga target kaya napatay sila," he said.

The guns will be subjected to a ballistic examination to see if these were used recently. —KG, GMA News
