Suspected drug pushers shot dead in Quezon Province


Two suspected drug pushers were killed in separate shooting incidents in Quezon Province on Friday.

A police report identified victims as Jimmy Marasigan Reformado, 36, of Brgy. Lumingon of Tiaong town, and Ronald Aquino Arguelles, 40, of Brgy. Mangilag Sur in Candelaria.

Reformado was found dead inside his house at about 5:30 a.m.

An initial police investigation indicated that the victim died from multiple gunshot wounds in his head and body.

Also, initial information gathered by the police showed that no gunshot was heard by Reformado's neighborhood.

Citing witnesses, unidentified gunmen arrived in the victim's house and shot him several times in the head and body. He was killed on the spot,  Tiaong Municipal Police Station reported.

Moreover, the report indicated that Reformado was tagged No. 5 on the list of illegal drug personalities in the town.

On the other hand, the murder of Arguelles happened at about 3 p.m. when an unidentified gunman shot the victim at close range, hitting him in different parts of his body.

He died on the spot and the attacker, along with an accomplice,  fled to unknown driection.

According to Candelaria police, the victim was included in the municipal watch list of drug personalities and known to be a big time drug pusher. — Peewee Bacuño with Ted Cordero/LBG, GMA News
