17-year-old Baguio High School student reported missing


Seventeen year-old Vaughn Carl M. Dicang who resides in Baguio City has gone missing, according to a report on "State of the Nation with Jessica Soho" on Wednesday.

The Grade 12 student from Baguio Science High School was last seen on September 1 wearing a gray jacket and dark pants, carrying a red Hawk backpack.

Vaughn was with his friends until he left to go home in the afternoon. However, he did not make it home.

He has been missing for five days and his family is looking for him.

When his family tried to call Vaughn, the phone rang a few times. After that, they were not able to reach him anymore.

Vaughn has dark hair, brown complexion, and stood at 5-foot-3.

According to the report, his parents are especially worried, particularly the teenager's father who is an overseas Filipino worker (OFW).

There are posters of Vaughn's photo and contact information put up in public places so that people who see him would give his whereabouts to his family.

The Dicang family also posted about his disappearance on Facebook.

Authorities have also started checking CCTV footage for the teenager's location.
